Message I've been getting quite a few emails asking me about the 2006 Z Calendar so I figured that I would take a moment and make a post to answer the general questions.

1.) If you want to send me pics allready, ok fine feel free. They can sit on my hdd just as well as yours. Please remember only high res shots, typically I would like to see 4MP+, and if you are shooting on a DSLR(6MP+) all the better. Remember to send 3 to 5 pics (1 Feature and several supporting).

2.) Where to send them you ask? Presently, its still a little early in the game so feel free to send them to: uploads@downshiftonline.com As we get closer to the fall I will setup an anonymous FTP account for everyone to use in uploading their pics.

3.) What improvements have you made on this year's calendar? Several actually. First and formost unlike last year's over sight this years will actually be drill pressed for hanging and yes I'm still peeved last year's were not. Secondly, as we have switched printers the calendars will be 11 x 8½, 28 pages in length and saddle stitched with a 1/8" drill. These will be printed on 80# Gloss Text with Aqueous coating on the covers. So, they are greatly improved over last years at least in terms of production specs. The pics are up to y'all. ;-)

4.) Will you be shooting any pics for the calendar? Why not. If anyone resides in central Florida or finds themselves here with their Z32 and would like to shoot some pics for the calendar, get in touch with me and one of our photographers will be more than happy to help a Z'r out. We'll be up in Atlanta at Panoz in July and then at NOPI in September as well as Asheville, NC again in September so feel free to drop me a line and we'll see if we can shoot the car. Also, anyone out in Colorado, Chris lives in Denver and is always looking for an excuse to use his 10D so he may be able to shoot your car as well.

So, I think that pretty much covers the questions I have been getting. As always if you have further questions feel free to drop me a line at editor@downshiftonline.com or catch me on AIM: NA300ZXuSa and I'll try and answer it.

On another note if anyone is bored and feels like checking out the new website layout feel free to cruise over to Beta Website and take a look around. Its not fully functional as of yet, but the general content is in place so you will get the idea. If you have any suggestions let me know so that Patrick and I can implement changes this week. The website should go live on the 30th along with the release of the latest issue. So, any constructive feedback is appreciated. oh, and btw I know Kristina looks weird on there, that is being changed shortly.

Thanks,
